Bye Hand 1 & 2.

Bye Hand, is a representation of societies’ unconscious purge of hand crafted work. The piece consists of two parts, the artist or craftsman, and mass production and society. The artist is represented by polished silver vessels. Made from metal they embody longevity with their silver finish signifying preciousness. Society is represented by 3d printed plastic spouts, cheap and undesirable in comparison to the vessels. These pieces are installed into the desired  space so they blend into the walls, essentially making the room around you part of the work. From these spouts will come the vessels, purged from society.
